Product Description

Our frameless glass balustrade system can be supplied in separate components or as a full package.
As each project will vary, we always suggest speaking to us first to allow us to provide you with a detailed quotation.

Base Channel

The aluminium base U-channel is made from aluminium. It is available pre-drilled for base or side fixing at 203mm centres. It is also available in two different widths, 64mm wide for 9-15mm glass and 70mm wide for 15-21.5mm

Stainless Steel Cladding

The stainless steel cladding is attached to the base U-channel to complete the look. It has a brushed finish.

End Cover Plates

These plates are fitted to the open ends of the stainless steel cladding. Also in a brushed finish.

Grips

There are 2 different types of grips, black and red. The colour will depend on what thickness glass is used. You secure the grips in place by using an allen key.

Rubber Gasket

The rubber gasket attaches to the underside top lip of the stainless steel cladding to close off the gap between cladding and glass.

Top rail

We can supply different types of top rail, however the most popular is a 42mm dia round stainless steel slotted tube top rail. Other options include 48mm dia round, square capping, oak and beech timber top rails.

Glass

In a residential external application, you would use 15mm toughened glass with a top rail or 21.5mm toughened laminated glass without a top rail. Glass is clear but can be obscured (sandblasted/screen printed), have a ClearShield coating plus other extras.

Space Plastic Isolators a maximum of 14" on center with a maximum of 4" in from the left and right edges of each panel 3 isolators per 4 foot panel. Customer is responsible for engineering and related safety inspections.
